No one is quite sure whether this bronze shows sorrow and
defeat for the Indian, or transition to a new spiritual life in the
20th century. Fraser believed the latter when he created this
for the 1901 Pan-American Exhibition in Buffalo, New York.
The Sid Richardson Museum Store offers high quality 100% hot-cast reproduction bronzes, produced by the lost wax method. Most are available in mini, desk and full size with a polished bronze finish. Each bronze is mounted on a marble base with a plate attached giving the name of the piece and the sculptor. Height shown includes base.
